Patchouli Essential Oil

Patchouli oil (Pogostemon cablin), native to Indonesia, emanates a grounding, deeply earthy aroma. This bushy herb, a member of the mint family, typically grows to a height of 2–3 feet and produces small white or pink flowers. Traditionally, its leaves were used as flavoring or herbal tea. Patchouli essential oil contains the naturally occurring constituent patchoulol, contributing to its distinctive earthy scent.
